Comfort

It's important for us to host our clients in a safe, neutral setting. We book suites in clean, spacious hotels for our shoots. your rate will vary depending on the cost of booking the venue. Yes, bring a friend! If not, we'll be sure to provide a chaperone for your comfort and safety.

Body Type

Too skinny? Too fat? Not fit enough? Wrinkles? Blemishes?

No such thing. Boudoir celebrates the body that you have - amplifying what you like about yourself and leaving out anything else. We'll shoot from flattering angles, and we pledge to NOT push you into poses or situations that make you uncomfortable.

Most clients admit that they didn't feel ready to book boudoir photos when they did; the truth is, you're ready. Book the session!

Photoshop

Every photo delivered by a professional photographer is "photoshopped". The term has a wide range of definitions, from your basic colour correction to full plastification of the subject.

Every photo we deliver is edited with Lightroom and Photoshop to correct light and colour.

Every boudoir photo is edited to smooth skin and enhance contrast; my policy is pretty straightforward: I'll clean up blemishes and stray hairs, tags and backgrounds that are distracting; I'll select only images that are flattering - you'll never see any of the non-keepers.

Sometimes we have to delete our assistants.

Nudity

There is none. We promise to NOT photograph any body part you don't want to show; We guarantee privacy for you to dress and undress; As we shoot, we'll show you images in the camera and will delete any file you don't like. Before we get started, we'll get on the same page regarding outfits, toplessness, and implied nudity.

Implied nudity can mean photos that imply that the subject is nude or topless, but is not, and can also mean that the subject is nude or topless but it's not seen in the image. Implied nudity can be achieved with pasties, G-strings and Photoshop.

There is no pressure to push your comfort limits in this regard.

Outfits

The joke is: You don't need much! But seriously: we usually break the ice with your basic man's style dress shirt or a flannel shirt with underclothes beneath. Other than that, a couple of different nice bra and panty combos, one or two teddy/corset outfits, some leather accessories, a snake...

If you have nothing you want to use, or if you want some ideas, we can talk about some of the things we have. Ask away!

All joking aside

sometimes the photographers have to get right in there, make sure the place is safe, and test out our (very expensive) gear. Featured here: me and my sister Francyne, who can be found at francynephotography on Facebook and Instagram.
